PWS stuDeNT selected foR County

Chris has been selected for the Northamptonshire Under 17’s cricket team.  One of only seven of all juniors in the County on the Emerging Players Programme (EPP) run by the first team coach, Kevin Innes. Chris trains 3 times a week with the County coaches, two of which are with the first team coaching panel and one specific to strengthening and conditioning in the gym.

The EPP for which Chris has been selected, is coaching on a one-to-one basis on all aspects of cricket including fitness, nutrition, tactics, lifestyle, leadership and team work.

During the Easter holidays, Chris had the opportunity to play in a Northants 2nd XI game at the county ground in Northampton. He also recently had the opportunity to bowl at Northamptonshire men’s batsman in preparation for their pre-season tour to Barbados.

Chris has been playing cricket since the age of four for his local club Thrapston and is looking forward to another successful Summer season with both Thrapston and Northamptonshire.
