Letter to parents

September 2016

Dear Parents and Carers

We are writing to let you know that Mark Taitt is leaving Prince William School (PWS) after three years as
Principal.

During that time he has overseen the transition from three to two tier education in the Oundle area, and PWS becoming an 11- 19 secondary school. He led the school community through the transition from being a local authority school to becoming an academy sponsored by EMLC Academy Trust. He now feels it is time to takeup a fresh challenge.

EMLC Academy Trust wishes him well for the future. In the autumn term Mark is taking up a placement
working with Sir George Berwick at Challenge Partners.

From 1st September Mr John Hernandez will take up the post of Executive Principal at Prince William School.

Mr Hernandez has been advising and working with the school during the last academic year. He has a strong
track record of providing school to school support within the London Challenge and thereafter with Challenge Partners. His school is one of the top 100 in the country for students’ progress. EMLC believes that in appointing him to the role of Executive Principal PWS will accelerate the progress that it is making and be set on a clear pathway to become Outstanding.

Mr Hernandez will be contacting you soon, giving details of an opportunity that you will have to meet with
him.

Thank you for your continued support of the school.

Yours sincerely
