The Humanities encompasses History, Geography and Religious Studies.
The Faculty of Humanities at Prince William School aims to enable students to gain knowledge and understanding of human experience in time, place and society and to allow them to reflect on their responses and the responses of others.
This will involve encouraging and supporting students to understand the relationships and interdependence of people throughout time and across the world, regardless of their culture or belief systems.
Through these students will become aware of, and value, their historical, environmental, cultural, religious, moral and social heritage.
We aim to help students foster enquiring minds that will ask questions of meaning and value, use essential skills to carry out inquiry through evidence and to analyse and interpret the world through their own and others’ perspectives.
