The study of language and communication is an exclusively and fundamentally human characteristic, research on the structure, acquisition, and application of language cuts to the heart of human understanding and the social world, linking language to psychology, societal and cultural development, the Arts and many other disciplines of study and exploration besides.

The Faculty of Communications at Prince William School strives to provide students with valuable opportunities to develop the literary and linguistic skills and cross-cultural competencies that are fast becoming central to ensuring participation in a global arena as dynamic and globally aware citizens.

Consequently, the proficiencies, tools and understanding students will develop when studying the courses we offer will allow them to make connections across and between the worldwide community; our aim is to ensure that students are able to deepen their understanding of the structure of the languages they are studying as well as the ways they interact with and reflect the communities in which they are used and applied.
